When we moved to Nevada I thought that maybe I had lost a perfect photo opportunity living so close to Table Mountain. But I have been blessed again. It turns out that Nevada can produce some spectacular wildflower as well. See what I discovered on Mt Davidson which is next to Virginia City.

I love the Eastern Sierras
In April we had our first get-away trip since the fire with our dear friends Carl and Shelly. We visited the Alabama Hills near Lone Pine California and Death Valley. Just in time for wildflowers in the Alabama Hills.

New beginings
A lot of water has pasted under the bridge since my last post. In November we lost our home in Paradise to the Camp Fire. The good news is, we are now very comfortable in our new home in Dayton, NV.

Eastern Sierra
What would October be without some good fall photos. We made a little trip to Bishop, CA around the first of the month. That's the place for some of the best scenery and fall colors in the state.

Well yes, it's Table Mountain again!
I just had to go to Table Mountain again. For me it's just to easy not to and we had some beautiful clouds today. I was pleasantly surprised to see how man flowers are still there. Some have disappeared but others small ones have appeared and the Lupins have multiplied prolifically.

Oregon Coast Rocks
On our way home from Portland we did the Oregon coast route because why wouldn't you if you could. Harris Beach and Samuel H. Boardman State Park are a couple of my favorite spots to photograph.
This is the Alsea Bay Bridge at Waldport as seen from our campsite.
Just playing around with some evening photos.
Samuel H. Boardman State Park near Seal Point offered a great sunset.
