We spent an afternoon and a morning in upper Yosemite National Park along Highway 120. We camped overnight in a campground just a couple of miles out of Lee Vining. If you click on this photo to enlarge it and find the white spot in the center, that’s the trailer in our campsite.
That’s Tenaya Lake in the foreground. The scenery on this road is spectacular.
Here is a really nice shot that Dave took in the same area.
There is a lot of snow up there and it’s melting fast. Gushing streams and waterfalls abound.
Here’s Dave going for the shot.
We hiked up on top of one of the many granite domes. It’s really amazing where a tree will grow. Tuolumne Meadows is below.
What would you call this? On the rocks? When people ask Dave what he takes pictures of he answers “dirt and rocks”. This one that I took is pretty much just rocks.
This was just and overlook from Highway 89 on our way home.
