Rocky Mountain High
Colorado treated us to some pretty Nice scenery in the morning while we climbed into the Rocky Mountains.
When I say climbed I mean climbed. If you enlarge this photo you will see that we are on the Continental Divide at 11,312 feet. I figured it should be all down hill from there to Kentucky.
This was the view in front of us. That is fresh snow on that peak.
After leaving the Rockies, the scenery in eastern Colorado starts to look pretty flat. This was a deserted stone house on the prairie.
Now it’s getting really hard to find something to take a picture of. Oh, hey look, a tree.
Oh, hey look, a train. And just when we though it couldn’t get any flatter, we enter Kansas.
